Bass Shivers

Hello! So as all of you Australian's know (and international viewers that will now know) it is Future Music Festival in Sydney tomorrow! Keen as a coffee bean! Although I am tired and would love a ginormous sleep in, it will be worth it once I get there, so get ready to party hard!

It has been raining on and off tonight, and I have seen many complaints from others praying it isn't raining tomorrow. But what's better than moshing hardcore at Future? Moshing hardcore in the rain! Crash down on those beats in the mud, get ready to get filthy! I am actually hoping that it is raining, it would highlight the day even more, although it is already bound to be a splendid day.

To get into the festive mood and bring back a flush of recent festival memories, I checked out my Big Day Out photo's, which got me all the more excited for tomorrow. Many of the photo's were blurry, which is definitely inevitable to happen, but here are a few of my favourite shots, especially the shot of Flea from RHCP pouring his heart out in his inspirational speech at the end of his speech. I remember him saying...

"be gentle and kind always, being mean is for cowards."

He continued to tell everyone to appreciate all kinds of music, no matter what culture, language, style or genre it may be, all forms of art must be appreciated and acknowledged for what it is within it's form of expression. He enforced that we must continue to support live music, ensuring to continue it's existence, and to keep the music industry alive. He gave his thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported RHCP at Big Day Out.

This was definitely a day to remember, getting tingles knowing that they are right in front of me performing just for us. People may attend festivals for all the wrong reasons, it has become more of a social status, where lasses get prettied up and the lads schedule extra sessions at the gym so they can come together through the binds of alcohol. It is an unappreciated culture where people are caring more about how they look rather than the music. Which is why many girls are whinging about the weather for tomorrow, incase their hair gets ruined. Well, you know what, I hope the raining pours and we can get dirty as we mosh out hearts into the ground and the bass trembles through our bones, sending shivers down our spines. That's the experience I'm looking for.

Hopefully I see many of your happy faces tomorrow, and get a good nights sleep!

Ex Oh.
