Bleach it back to life.

So, I dyed my hair! Yay, all by myself. I'd only bleached my hair once before, and I didn't know it was going to to get bleached at the time. Anyway, yesterday, I decided I would bleach it again, myself. Looked so different and weird with my hair completely bleached and blonde, though it sort of was a dodgy job, though it looked cool with random orange parts everywhere (where I didn't bleach the red entirely). I do have snaps but I decided not to upload any... So! This was the result of my hair, there actually was more red, and I was contemplating leaving the bleach at the ends buuutttt I added platinum blonde hair dye at the ends which ended up blending heaps with the red. I never care how my hair turns out, not fussed, I always love the outcome :)

So today was the day I went job hunting and my best pal Dallas came with me, which was meant for moral support in a way, (although he was dragging behind and distracted as he was texting whatever chicks were on the go today, typical) but it was good, I hope there is an outcome of new opportunities to arise in short time. This is actually what I wore today. Took me soooo long to decide on what to wear. Honestly, I was trying to go for respectable yet still edgy in a way, I mean, you got to entice the employees in a way. Would've preferably worn stockings with this skirt but it was way too hot, though I do always wear leopard print when I got job hunting, it always does the trick ;) I wore my lovely UNIF's, love them to pieces (hopefully they never fall to pieces no matter how much I wear them, please!)

Well hopefully everything turns out for the best! I still haven't begun on my uni work. Found out this my marketing project is in fact due in two weeks, not next week, so ooobviously I don't need to start it as soon as I expected ;) I better go though, halfway through season 3 Breaking Bad!

Monday's Full of Cats

Gooooooood morning! It's Monday, and I am in a fantabulous mood, I am wearing a shirt full of cats and I have finished uni for the day, so bed and food is the current pinnacle of my day. I have spent a bit of money lately on new clothes, a present for myself for quitting my job at Hungry Jack's after 3.5 years, which was well overdue. This shirt, was one of my fabulous purchases. It is the best thing ever! New shades as well, Le Specs, which are a great upgrade from my dodgy other pair which did do the job just fine. I'm surprised they are still in tact though; after festivals, stacking on the snowboard at the snow, accidentally sitting on them. Oh, and a new hat! I have been copping some flack from friends about my hat, though, I do love it.

So, obviously when I put on this shirt, selfies were definitely necessary. Although I was pushed for time to leave for uni, and my memory card was in my sister's room so my camera was of no use, so phone selfies were suffice. Normally the quality on my phone is really bad, so I don't really like relying on my phone for nice photo's, they they turned out okay.

Anyway, I gotta get on with my uni work, feels good to be back on the blog. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Do we really need to know?

Hello! So, today is Wednesday, or, it was Wednesday about half an hour ago, but, post for Wednesday! Resumed second week of uni, and of course there is always that one subject that you don't enjoy, that you believe serves no purpose. Theory of graphic design isn't the most intriguing subject, like, knowing Karl Marx, and the theory of Marxism, where in the case of going to a shoe store to buy a pair of shoes, instead of asking "How much are these shoes?" he would ask "How much are the African children getting paid to make these?". He wrote about the Fetish of Commodity, which I'm not going to lie, it is interesting, I do like gaining knowledge of such interesting facts, but I don't know how such information can be the basis of a subject, I asked myself "How is knowing the Marxism theory going to aid my chances of getting a job?"

I know it's a good idea to have background information of the field you are studying. I know it's essential to more the core factors of Graphic Design and all, but, we are in a modern age with fresh ideas and different culture as society is continuously growing and changing. Ah, this is the kind of topic that I get really into, but, I don't want to ramble on too long, it is hot and I just finished watching a movie, "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2". I can't say I've watched a movie of that kind for a veeeeery long time. I usually stick to my Thriller and Horror, which leads me onto other topics I love to talk about, but I have uni in 7 hours and I need sleep, hopefully, one day, I fulfil my need to express these thoughts, accompanied by a few photographs of course. Enjoy your sleep!
