University: Press Play

Hello!

So today was my first day back at uni for this semester, I was looking forward to it, and it was great to see everyone again! Although I began my day helping mum out with some gardening, climbing up the ladder and pruning the palm trees, in which I was attacked by so many mosquitoes, what quite insane. But it's okay now, a few mossie bites never hurt, just a part of your typical aussie backyard.

I was mainly excited to go back to uni so I can doodle all over my books in the lectures, which will get me back into drawing more, so hopefully I will post more drawings in time!

Here's a photo of the Wollongong Nightlife crew working at Su Casa on the 23rd Feburary. This was the opening night of Su Casa, where upstairs of Glasshouse has becomes it's own club with exclusive deep house music. It has been very successful, so if you're a local and don't have any plans for this Saturday night hit up Su Casa! Free entry until 11pm and $6 shooters until 1am! Fair deal I'd say!

You may say "But Saturday is so far away, I want to party now!" Well you're in luck! (If you live local, of course) because it's Uni night at the Grand Hotel! Every Wednesday, free entry and free pizza! So come down for some dinner and cheap drinks until 11pm, and you're guaranteed to have a good night!

So I best be off, got to get some rest and revitalise for work tonight, hope you have a fabulous Wednesday evening!

WHAT SO NOT! Are you ready to break it down?!

So last night was a total hit at Glasshouse! Or should I say "Su Casa" as apparently upstairs of Glasshouse has become it's own separate Deep House Club. Didn't finish till 4am, was busy, which was great for a change! It has been quiet lately so it was good to get the party back!

On the agenda for tonight, WHAT SO NOT at the Grand Hotel! Tickets have sold out! It is going to be OFF CHOPS! So excited to work tonight, The event has actually already started with sets beginning at 3pm today. To check out the event click here!!!

This is perfect for those that aren't attending Soundwave, didn't music genre but can still party as hard. Rumour has it that on the WHAT SO NOT Tour in Camberra the crowd was so over the top that they unbolt the DJ Booth and the turn tables were floating? So, it will be an intense night when WHAT SO NOT's set begins at 9:30pm.

Party till the rain falls.

So I am ready for work! This is.."vintage" outfit. I guess it's pretty accurate, but, I guess I'm more-so thinking of 80's style; Dr Martens, spotty skirt and buttoned up shirt, but it depends on what you actually consider vintage. I wouldn't necessary call it vintage, maybe old school, doesn't matter anyway, this was the required clothing for tonight! Su Casa is coming to Glasshouse so party down! Hopefully it gets busy as it has been a few quiet weeks lately at Glasshouse, I think it's a seasonal thing, so, I'm ready to bring on Winter at Glasshouse!

Finally I have posted a picture of my stockings with bows (last picture) I think they're cute, and thanks to mum again for giving them to me. Unfortunately they got caught on the velcro of my Hungry Jack's hat and there is a minor hole/ladder on the left leg but that's okay, I'm not fussy with things like that, it's not like the stockings are over 20 years old anyway...

The skirt is from Cotton On surprisingly, I don't really like shopping there, as they mainly sell basics, but it was $10 so woo! My jacket is also from Cotton On, it was on the men's clearance rack for $10, it is an X-large so I just roll the sleeves; it's my favourite comfy jacket, especially in this weather, it is pouring down rain. Better remember to bring an umbrella with me!

Anyway, I best be off, hopefully it is a great night at Glasshouse, and if anything exciting happenings on this rainy Saturday night, I shall share my stories with you tomorrow!

Leather and Fur

My outfit for last night! I never got around to posting it before I left because was rushing, had to buy petrol and phone credit. But here we go! My dress is brand new, a synthetic leather look from Nasty Gal. My vest, another Bettina Liano item that I purchased from Myer last year. Again, I am wearing my creepers, I do wear them a lot, my current boots are getting very worn out and plus, creepers match everything :) But soon, hopefully in a couple of hours, I shall be purchasing Dr Martens! With my sneaky ebay skills I managed to find a few pairs dirt cheap so hopefully I get those and with follow up with a post.

So the party was great last night, it was good to let loose for once and have a break from work, especially catching up with school friends that I haven't seen for a couple of months. Unfortunately, my key necklace has been "misplaced" somewhere through the adventures last night, hopefully it shows up ! Today, I was straight back to work all day, so, I best be off as I leave for work again shortly.
