Lost in the MAZE.

An A1 sized poster I drew for The MAZE to show my appreciation and support.

Are you ready to get lost in The MAZE?

If you're looking for some new tunes to fasten up the pace of your day, get your blood pumping with The MAZE!

The MAZE is a local band from the Illawarra, good chums of mine, founded back in 2010. In the past 3 years they have increased their fan base rapidly by providing the needs of the people! With their pop rock music they fill your ears with soul and happiness; as quote from the AU Review:

"...they sound less like a genre, and more like a mood; like road trips with friends and sunny days at the beach."

They have kept themselves busy early this year with no chance of slowing down; there are a few gigs coming up if you are intrigued to check them out! Here are a few helpful links to lead you into the MAZE...

If you are a fan of the MAZE, why not show your pride with a shirt?! They have recently designed new shirts, presenting the famous Aden, who has teamed up with Lead Singer Zach Gervaise and compiled a fresh Film Production business. If you would like to check out "A to Z Productions", check them out here!

Whilst Zach is keeping himself busy with the band and the film production, why not begin a solo career? He is quite the eager musician with nothing in his way to stop him. So, it would be greatly if you were to give his pages a geez and show some support for some fresh growing talent!

Day off.

So today I finally got a day off, a nice break from plans, I got to have a nice sleep in then help my mum with a few errands. Due to my day off I had no need to go anything all snazzy, so, I cruised through my photo's and came across photo's from my trip to Katoomba last year with my friends, so, I decided I would share my little holiday :)

Last year my friend Ben invited us to go to Katoomba for the weekend of my best friend Ashton's 19th birthday. We went to the blue mountains to go abseiling. It was one of the best weekends I've had, it was good to get away with friends with no work or uni and just glide down the walls of the blue mountains.

I remember our leaders told us a story of how the blue mountains had formed whilst we ate lunch, it was a lovely story using food metaphors to explain it. He spoke about meatloaf and lasagne rising out of the ground and eroding over the years.

The air is so fresh in the mountains, and I so numerous photo's which turned out lovely. I loooooove the photo I got of my friend Tasman as he was abseiling down the Devils Hole, as shown in the 7th photo. The 10th photo doesn't do the view justice of how amazing the blue mountains look from the lookout. The next morning we went and saw the three sister's, and it's the same deal, the view was amazing( the three sister's are shown in the 12th photo). I could've stood there for days.

It really was an adventure, we had to climb in narrow gaps between mountains with 20-30 metre drops below us (shown in the 4th photo). It was an exhilarating feeling.

After a long climb down the mountain it was the intense 1.5 hour hike back up the mountain, we hiked past the burnt down trees from a bushfire that had occurred a while ago. It was actually a really pretty sight (see photo 8).

It was the best feeling to finally reach the top again after a very long time. It was exhausting but it was very worth it. I would love to go back. We had planned to go back and do the canyoning course through the waterfalls which would be amazing so hopefully I eventually make my way back there.

Well, I hope you all had a lovely Wednesday and yourselves have had lovely little weekend trips here and there!

Fresh.

Hello! So, I'm Shenae Paige McEwan, I decided I would begin my blog with a fresh photo of myself, seeing as the rest of the blog will contain me all snazzied up, as I intend for this to be a fashion blog.

Let me introduce myself a little more, I am 18, just starting my second year at University of Wollongong, studying Creatives Arts and Communication and Media Studies, majoring in Design and Advertising and Marketing. I work three jobs, ranging from the (not so) classy Hungry Jacks to high standards of Collegians Rugby League Football Club to the messy nightclubs in Wollongong. So as you can tell, I like to keep myself busy.

As a typical Creative Arts student, I am quiet bright in terms in creativity, where uncountable ideas overflow my mind, yet, I am also quite a procrastinator, therefore never really getting around to bringing these ideas to life. I have always been quite undecided where I want to end up with my life, yet it had always revolved around some creative aspect. For quite some time I have become fonder and more intrigued in developing my style, the clothes I wear and how I present myself each time I leave the house. I enjoy spending quality amounts of time preparing myself for a days activity, you could say, getting ready is the highlight of my day.

I really want to get my career on a roll and through many months of procrastination of putting a solid effort into something in particular, and contemplating many decisions of what to do, I have decided to start a blog, hopefully I stay committed to this, as I tend to get bored easily and go onto other things.
I guess I will now leave this here, and tomorrow I shall begin my fashion rampage. Through each post, I hope to express myself a little more, letting the world know who I am, for I am Shenae Paige McEwan.
